HISTORY & HONORS

A beautiful journey through time

1990

Archie was previously a die-casting workshop. It was founded 28th February, 1990. Since the very beginning Archie prides themselves in manufacturing process and technique improvements.

1994

1. Registered the “Archie” trademark.
2. The first generation of Archie brand products was produced.
3. Began to mass produce zinc-alloy door and window hardware accessories, clothes/towel hooks, door locks and bathroom accessories.

1996

1. One of the very first in the industry to widely use zinc-alloy as raw material.
2. Developed the first generation mortise lock and promoted zinc-alloy mortise lock product within the hardware industry in China.

1998

1. Archie was the very first company in the industry to produce hardware products with multi-finishing.
2. Archie was also the first in the industry to develop the T010 interior zinc-alloy door lock that filled market vacancy at that time.

1999

Launched the very first aluminum-alloy door lock in the industry.

2000

1. Built Archie’s first showroom in Guangzhou
2. Domestic sales increased significantly while international sales grew more than 100%

2001

1. Archie developed its very first stainless steel door lock at the same time led the industry into producing investment cast stainless steel door lock.
2. Archie was also one of the first to develop mortise lock with glass door applications.

2002

1. Obtained multiple international design & utility patents.
2. Registered the “Archie” trademark in over 150 countries across the globe.

2006

Archie’s sliding cover fingerprint lock was grant the “Guangdong Industrial Design Award”

2007

Archie obtained the ISO9001 (Quality Management System), ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) certifications.

2010

Archie developed our J1051 fingerprint lock that is specially designed for luxurious villas.

2011

Archie established the “Guangdong Digital Lock Technology & Research Centre”.

2012

Archie annual production capacity exceeded 20,000 units
